There are mathematical signs, symbols for science, computer icons ... they are all different. But there is one sign that represents love in any language, and that is the heart. It doesn't matter where you live or in what language you speak. The language of love transcends all barriers. The heart is the bridge to understanding, the connection between souls. The young couple that stand at the altar of marriage, the old man who holds his wife's hand as she passes into the afterlife, the teenager whose hands tremble as he pins the corsage on his prom date ... love at many levels, but love all the same ... the heart knows.
