Even death could not squelch the light. He gave his life. Even more important to the Christian faith is that He STILL gives His light to any and all that would want to bask in it. And not just any life ... no, He gives NEW life, in fact, new life like a butterfly escaping his cocoon. New beginnings. With his death, He wiped the slate clean. The past is over. Out of His death comes the opportunity for new life.
