Using the fingerspelled "I", the "L" letter for LOVE, and the "Y" for YOU, the I LOVE YOU sign is beautiful and meaningful. In this work of art, it symbolizes love that can be felt coast to coast, state to state, and home to home. Pass it on!
....................................................................................................................................................................................This art work began as a watercolor painting of the "I LOVE YOU" hand. The sign was then appropriated to become one of the many that comprise the United States painting seen here.

The I LOVE YOU hands were added one by one and sized digitally as a part of the process. Each I LOVE YOU hand was made dimensionally appropriate for the spot that it was designed to fill. In other words, each I LOVE YOU hand was sized for a certain position on the map and added individually.

This map was a labor of love, requiring hours of work, but certainly it was worthwhile in light of the message. The bright colors and clean lines represent a wonderful tribute to love and friendship that binds the deaf coast to coast .
