Description
"Stand firm in your faith, or you will not stand at all." Isaiah 7:9
.........................................
Our pastor preached a sermon last night that touched me deeply. His challenge to us was that of the prophet Isaiah - to stand firm in our faith. In this changing world, that is no easy task. But if my life is to count for anything, then that is what is most important - to stand firm in faith.
........................................
This image is my watercolor painting of a forest. Surely the trees embody this principle: to stand firm. If the trees bend, then they compromise their ability to receive sunlight. For Christians, it is the same - when we bend, we position ourselves farther from the light of God's Son. Stand tall, Christian. Drink in the Son's light.
